After Massive Weight Loss Surgery

There are many areas that have excess skin after succeeding in losing weight. This can be the upper arm and require a brachioplasty or arm lift (see the operation list for this on the left)

Also drooping of the breast and requires a breast uplift (mastopexy) or may even require implant enhancement as well. (please see the relevant information sheet)
There can be excess skin to the abdomen and requires a tummy tuck operation, called an abdominoplasty. This can also be referred to as an apronectomy as just the lower half of the tummy under the tummy button may need removing as a large overhang. The area that also may need an uplift is the Mons area (pubis). Please see the sheet for the abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)
The inner thigh can also have excess skin and this can be removed at a thigh lift.

All these operations are different from the pure cosmetic uplifts due to the extent of the excess skin and also the skin quality is very lax.
If you would like to come and talk to me for a consultation about any of the above please contact my secretary at the hospital of your choice on the Contact Us page. The initial consultation is £175.
