Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

This is to reduce the extra skin and fat layer from under the upper arm that hangs lose commonly called the bingo wings.

The main aspect of this surgery is to reduce the upper arm skin and use liposuction to reshape the arm. The scar is designed to lie in the creases along inner medial arm but may descend into the lower part of the upper arm under the action of gravity. This means that the scar may, with time, no longer be hidden within creases and may be more visible. I will put the scar in the crease in the front of the arm so that when the arm is by your side the scar can hardly be seen from the back or front unless the arm is then raised.

The other point to be aware is due to extensive liposuction to the inner arm There will be numbness in the upper part of your arm skin after surgery. This usually recovers with time but can take several weeks.
